Partial Office Closure – August 30th, 2024
Student Financial Services/Teller Services will close for the day at 3:00pm on Friday, August 30th, 2024. Office hours for August 30th, 2024 are as follows:
8:00am – 3:00pm
Student Financial Services/Teller Services will resume normal office hours on Tuesday, September 3rd at 8:00am.

 

Student Financial Services manages student account billing and collection at the University of Michigan. There are many resources available throughout this section of the Financial Operations website to assist the university's students and parents with managing and understanding the student bill.

Bills and Due Dates

The official tuition assessment occurs at registration.

Payments

The University of Michigan accepts payments on student charges in the form of cash, check, or epayment.

Parents & Family Authorization

Students may authorize up to four other individuals to receive access to their eBill.

U-M Payment Plan

This OPTIONAL plan allows fall or winter term expenses to be spread over five installments - interest free! 

Refunds

Refunds are reviewed and processed on a daily basis.

Sponsored Students

Students that are registered and require Student Financial Services to bill an outside sponsor for tuition and fees while they attend university.

1098-T

GSA / GSRA / GSI / GSSA

Student Financial Services is responsible for the posting of GSA tuition waivers.
