The U-M Payment Plan is offered for Fall and Winter terms and allows each term’s educational expenses to be spread over five equal installments. There is a non-refundable $30 enrollment fee charged each term for enrollment in the U-M Payment Plan. Fall term installments are due monthly June 30 through October 31. Winter term installments are due monthly November 30 through March 31.

Enrollment in the Fall 2025 Payment Plan will open mid-May 2025. 

Enrollment in the Winter 2026 Payment Plan will open in mid-October 2025

Direct Deposit is an important tool providing a secure method to receive payment.  Did you know that students may enroll in direct deposit to receive financial aid and student account refunds?  This short video explains the importance of Direct Deposit.

Effective Monday, March 25, 2019 students must provide authorization for Student Financial Services to discuss (verbally via phone/in-person or by email) student account information (eBills, 1098T form, etc.) with others. 

Student Financial Services will communicate only with individuals the student authorizes.
