What is insured?

We are insured for costs associated with pollution clean-up, as well as to cover liability claims for pollution-related injuries, illnesses or deaths associated with pollution for campuses and all other university owned and leased locations.

What do I do if I have a claim?

• Report the loss to Insurance and Claims Administration by completing a Complete a Claim Submission Form: https://rm-umich.csc-fsg.com/UoM/(S(beppg4lrb3d4xwx0n5t3lxap))/report.aspx
• A "Proof of Loss" form must be forwarded to Insurance and Claims Administration accompanied by documentation substantiating the value of the property.

Is there a deductible?

There is no deductible charged to the department.
