2015 Strategic Initiatives

  1. Implement Administrative Services Transformation (AST) to achieve goals in Phase III
    • Finalize implementation of August 2014 SSC phase
    • Collaborate with other B&F units to assist in stabilization of SSC
    • Communicate with SSC and colleges/schools/units regarding university policies
    • Assist SSC in refining new processes
    • Rollout processes identified for winter 2015
    • Finalize ‘retained org’ activities
  2. Formalize relationships with affiliates, including the Alumni Association and Musical Society
    • Execute new agreements by the end of FY 2015
  3. Integrate Allegiance Health with Michigan Medicine(pending decision to move ahead)
    • Develop and implement plans to manage debt and tax issues associated with integration
  4. Support capital planning process for projects exceeding $1 million
    • Partner with other B&F units and the Office of the Provost to support this initiative
  5. Optimize Facilities Maintenance Chain
    • Leverage technology
    • Reduce inventory
    • Control inventory
    • Improve processes
